- EPA K-Listed, U-Listed, or P-Listed waste
- Municipal solid waste
- Ammunition and explosives
- Infectious waste
- Radioactive waste
Contruction Demolition Waste
Acceptable Waste
Construction demolition waste is solid waste resulting from the construction, remodeling, repair, and demolition of structures, roads, sidewalks, and utilities; including but not limited to:
- Bricks, concrete, and other masonry materials
- Roofing materials
- Soil and Rock
- Wood and wood products
- Wall or floor coverings
- Plaster and drywall
- Plumbing fixtures
- Electrical wiring and electrical components containing no hazardous materials
- Non-asbestos insulation
- Small amounts of construction related packaging mixed with waste
- Furniture
- Appliances with no freon
- Asphalt pavement
Non-Acceptable Waste
If you leave these items you will be charged trash price.
Wastes that are not accepted in the Construction-Demolition Pit include:
- Caulking tubes (empty or full)
- Containers (empty or full)
- Aerosol cans
- Toys
- Clothes
- Lawn mowers
- Batteries
- Garbage (including drink containers and fast food trash)
- Appliances (containing freon)
- Tires (of any size)
- Friable asbestos
- Electrical equipment containing hazardous materials
- Drums or containers even through such wastes resulted from construction and demolition activies (Note: empty paint and oil cans, caulking tubes, or chemical containers of any sort are not acceptable)
Landfill/Transfer Station
The Transfer Station provides for safe disposal of solid waste. The Transfer Station will accept household hazardous waste, construction demolition waste, and tires.
